Alanna HATES having her hair washed..

I normally get her hair wet with a washcloth, which she doesnt mind to much, and then shampoo her up, doesnt mind.. but when it comes to rinsing, you would think i was killing her!

Ive tried wiping it off bit by bit with the washcloth, gently pouring water over the back of her head, laying her down in the water and wiping it off, getting a sports bottle and scooshing it off. but everything she just screams bloody murder!!

Any ideas?

i try wash my 2s hair as quick as possible as they hate it. Flannel over the eyes and pour jugs of water till its rinsed, they hate it but no other way to do it lol

I just pour water over as quickly. Luckily Drake doesn't mind his hair being washed. If you use a big jug then maybe once is all that is needed? And a quick distraction method for straight after?

I do it very quick!
Laceys 5 and still hates her hair being washed!

I just pour water over. We do swimming classes and the babies are taught a signal for when they are going to be 'dunked'. We use that at bath time and she now closes her eyes in preparation!

Lanna has learned the Countdown in swimming.. 3-2-1 then dunk.. But she cries as soon as I start counting now! Swimming or in the bath!

Oz doesn't mind having his hair done at all, have to do it every morning as his head sweats buckets when he sleeps!! I just use my hand to scoop water onto his head and he just lay back and let me do it!

I use a baby sponge. Los got a bath seat so I pull him to front so he's lay at a bit of an angle instead of sat up fully iykwim then just rinse with a few sponge squeezes and he's done. He doesn't mind water in hid face or anything tho xx

My Los the only baby I know who cries when its time to get out the bath. He's such a water baby xx

I unscrew the shower head from the pipe and just use a dribble from the end of the pipe so I can direct it without getting it in Lou's face iykwim :)

My lo wont even sit down in the bath anymore without screaming. He gets his hair washed very quickly at least three times i week. Im so fast now he barely notices..but still whinges!

Hey,
I just wet it, put the shampoo on, lather, then pour the water over his head. Thankfully hes not bothered at all. We started swimming lessons really early and always go once or twice a week, I think thats why he doesnt mind the water going over his face xxxxx

I started taking her in the pool at like 6 weeks! So I dont think age matters LOL just individual babies >.< she never used to care.

Last night in the bath i put a flannel over her eyes and poured water over.. she wwas so annoyed about the flannel on her face she didnt care about the water!

Tegan never used to mind but the last couple of weeks she hates it! so i just try & do it as quickly as possible x

True chick. My cousins baby used to love baths, then hated them, now isn't fussed again. Def a phase xxxxx

he has a bath every other night, and i wash his hair every time. He loves the water and I have been 'training' him to hold his breath when water is poured on his head for when we go swimming. There are some good videos on youtube of how to do it, but i basically use the same phrase 'campbell...ready....go' and pour it. He doesnt even bother with it now and is a good underwater swimmer already. took a couple of weeks but im glad i did it xx

Yeah Lanna knows what "Lanna.. 3..2..1" means now. But instead of holding her breath she just starts crying >.<

LOs a nightmare for having his hair washed, he hates it! He still doesn't have a great deal of hair though, so find however gets it done quickest is best!
