Hello,

I am 8 + 3 weeks today with potential twin pregnancy and don't have a bump compared to some others who are the same amount along as I am.

I have been getting a super hard belly and bloated, but there is definitely a difference between my vulva and tummy and they have not connected on the protrusion side of things as my belly is defo still bigger than my vulva, if that makes sense?

Is this normal?

It's also my first viable pregnancy xxxx

I think most of us who have a bump already have already had previous full term pregnancies so our uterus has already been stretched it won't be long before you've got a beautiful bump so enjoy fitting into your clothes whilst you can and congratulations:)

With twins you do show a bit earlier but at this stage although it looks like a mini bump. Usually with a singleton the uterus is at your belly button around 20 weeks and would have your official bump formed then although I dunno how fast it moves up there with twins. Youd need to ask your MW that one. But it is probably bloat at this stage. The bloat is a normal pregnancy bloat though its not gradual fatness. Once you get your bump you can tell the difference.

As EM says, if its a second child your uterus will go a bit quicker aswell, falls back into place as such.

xxxx
