How do you count your FL OZs??

I'm trying to record what Harry eats, but just wondered how you record what your baby eats. Once you add formula it brings the liquid up, so for example 6oz of water becomes 7oz wiht formula added IYKWIM. So do I count from 7oz or 6oz? Does this make sense???

I know what you mean but I always count from how much water I Put in the bottle xx

I've always counted by the amount of water x

Same here, I count the water/scoops and ignore the fact that it technically goes up an oz! X

Ok, thanks Just wondering what you do if LO doesn't finish bottle? So, if there's 1 oz left in the bottle after, do you say they've only had 5oz, even if there was 7oz of liquid?? Bit confusing!! xxx

If I make a 7oz bottle and he drinks the lot - I'd say he drank 7 oz, but if an oz was left I'd say he had "just over 6oz"...
