How big was your baby at 6 weeks?

Now, I know comparing is dangerous, but I'm just interested.....

Stanley went down to 6lb after birth and just 5 weeks later he weighs..11lb 10oz!

He's jumped from the 25th to over the 75th centile. The HV told me not to be worried because although she reckons you CAN overfeed a greedy baby, Stanley doesn't look fat, just BIIIG!!

I reckon he might be trying to catch up with his 6' 5" daddy! He doesn;t look like my teeny newborn anymore (although he is still mega cute! )

AAAh, Dior was teeny weeny for ages! Harley grew a bit faster though, maybe it's a boy thing?

Yep lol stanley is a chunk lol but the chunkier the cuter if you ask me.

yeah Dior was a tiny thing she lost weight and went right down to 4lb 6oz.
wasnt very nice so was skin and bones..

Harleys the oposit to stanley. hes short and chubby

Oliver was born weighing 8lb 6oz and I had him weighed on Tuesday and he is now 11lb 14oz and he is 6 weeks old today. The HV said they were really pleased with his progress and didn't seem concerned at all!

Aimee was 8 11 when she was born and at 6 weeks she was 10 8 but she was a bad feeder. Her sister who was only 6 11 at birth gained weight much faster than that.

Lydia took a month to regain her birth-weight (10lbs 10oz), as she dropped down to 9lbs something or other in the first week.

Her red book is in the car, and that's got her 6 week weight on it, so I'll have to post that later.

I can tell you though that at 9 weeks she was 12lbs 13oz.

It seems some of the bigger babies gained weight a lot slower?

Maybe little Stanley is just playing catch up!!

Olivia was 7lb 4 at birth,

At 6 weeks she was 9lb 9,

Last friday at 14 weeks she was 12lb 6

 

Boys gain it faster than girls apparently hun, plus their scale line is slightly lower than boys.

Damien packed on the pounds too, even for a 34 weeker.

Not as quick as your little man but pretty fast grower too. He started on the 91st at birth, dropped to nearly the 25th, and now sits and has stayed on the 75th

For Damiens corrected age of 5 weeks (11 weeks actual age) he was about 12lb Sounds like Stanley is doing great!

At 6 weeks Rebecca was 12lb 4oz-she was 8lb 8oz at birth so she gained weight quickly. (was feeding every 20mins and was a heifer!)

2 weeks: 8lb 7
3 weeks: 9lb 3
and 4weeks 3 days (yesterday) he's 9lb 12.5!

obv he's not got to 6 weeks yet but hope this helps
