M has asked Santa for a baby months ago so I'm going to tell her Christmas Day ! She's got a card which will have the scan in and I've bought the book baby's don't eat pizza. Thought we'd stick with the frozen obsession :)

Jackson actually asked Santa for a wee brother/sister (with my prompting) but we aren't there yet - I am trying to get my Christmas BFP but even then, itll be an Xmas announcement for OH.

I will need to keep it quiet from J as hes at the repeating stage, so I wouldn't want him spilling the beans until we are ready.

But I have not planned anything grand yet.. Hes only 3 atm.

Where did you get that book? It seems good but it's really expensive on Amazon. I might have to see if the local library have it (doubt it though lol)

My 11yr old already knows, I told them at about 6 weeks, he wanted a baby brother for ages so is really pleased (even though it could be another sister ;) )

My 9yr old doesn't know. I was going to tell her at Christmas, but I'm debating telling her a little sooner. I've ordered a 'best big sister' badge, I think I might give it to her more-or-less as soon s it arrives, and tell her then. I don't want the baby news to overshadow Christmas (I'm not thinking she'll be as thrilled - she's always been adamant she doesn't want to be a middle child and she doesn't want a little brother lol)

My daughter wanted a brother or sister for Christmas, I have an 8 week scan on the 29th but I really want to tell her before! Aarggh scared incase something happens though :/ I'm thinking of getting her a big sister t-shirt or writing out some big cats and getting her to.read them in front of a camera so that I can keep her reaction forever!

It's so difficult I'm only waiting till Christmas as its what she's asked Santa for ! I bought it of Amazon its worth he money as it goes through pregnancy, birth and beyond

My little boy is still a bit young to of offically annouced he was going to be a big brother.

But he loved coming to our gender scan and now rubs my bump saying 'baby charlies in there'.. I bought him a new book off Amazon called 'there's a house inside my mummy' its really sweet and he loves reading it with me :)

My daughter is 9 now so I want something a bit more grown up :)
