I took harry to the dr's today as he has toncilitis (sp?) but whilst i was there i asked the nurse practitioner for some advice about be not being able to tolerate dairy products, I wondered if i would need some calcium supplements, she said she wasn't sure but ran off to ask the midwife who was busy so she took my number and said that the midwife would phone me. Our midwife only works there once a week so i was lucky that she was in, except i have had no phone call!!!!
I am a bit annoyed really because i end up in agony if i eat/drink anything like milk or cheese and after weeks it just nicer not to have it in my diet and know i won't be crippled over the loo in agony, but i am worried as the baby obviously needs calcium and i don't think the rest of my diet will be sufficient! my next appointment is not until the 30th october!
I know they are busy but what is a two min phone call!!!
