Why the hell do they put the maternity section in clthes shops up the stairs?????

I went to a retail park the other night & in New Look & Dotty p's the maternity clothes were up 2 flights of stairs I was so pee'd off, was knackered by the time I got to the top!

God knows what its like for you ladies near to dropping

Fortunately our New Look used to be Littlewoods so it's massive - all spread out on one floor (and the menswear is upstairs!). The DP in Exeter is downstairs though.

i think its stupid. and having breast pads andmaternity products on very high or low shelves.. how rude..

I agree, our mackays use to have the baby clothes upstairs and no lift, so you had to carry your baby upstairs and leave the pram downstairs

They had so many complaints but still didnt fit a lift till the new laws came in. :shakehead: i still wont shop there.

in my crappy town new looks on ground floor :) only bought maternity stuff in stewarts which is now turning into richleys. peacocks and mothercare.

Come to think of it  We have 3 shops here in East Kilbride with maternity wear upstairs  Stairs up and escalator down in one but lift in the other two... so let them away with it..... just

Why are the maternity wards and delivery suites always on the top floor of the hospital!!!! It's difficult enough to walk upstairs when your heavily pregnant as it is... but when your in labour to????????? Has to be a man who comes up with these "brilliant" ideas
