How and when do you weigh yourself?

I just wondered because I don't own any scales and don't know whether to make a trip to Boots once a week or just buy some scales from ebay and try not to become obsessed with them :lol: Plus what are good and bad scales? I've seen ones that do you BMI but I wouldn't really want anything fancy.

What do you guys do? :)
 
At the moment, because I'm trying to diet, I'm using the Wii fit scales. Every Tuesday, after dinner I will weigh myself. I think they're quite good because they tell you your BMI and how much you've lost or gained. They also give you a lovely fat Mii if you're overweight :D

My Mum weighs herself every morning, I don't think that's right..Don't know why though..If you did get some scales, weigh yourself at the same time of the day to get the most accurate reading.
 
iv just got a boots digital scale it was £15. i originally had a salters one that measured ur fat percentage but boyf made me return it coz it was £30 :roll:

he did me a favour tho iv since learned that ALL fat % measurements are VERY inaccurate. the only way to get accurate reading is those professional tests they do underwater :lol:

my digi scale is pretty consistent :) i try not to weigh too often tho i can get a bit obsessed if i let myself :lol:
 
Everyweek or so, usually in a morning (naked lol) we have digi ones too
 
I have weight watchers digi ones, they are brill.

I aim to weigh myself every Monday first thing before my morning shower....however...i tend to do it everyday as slightly obsessed...lol
 
I've got digital weight watchers ones................even though I'm on slimming world!

I've also got wi-fit, but it makes me weight more :x :lol:

If you want to track your weight just get some cheapy tesco/equivalent ones. They work just as well. Weight yourself ONCE a week at the same time (your weight will flatulate over 5 days), preferably wearing the same clothes, if any! :wink:
 
I agree with Baby-Briggsy, its hard not to weight yourself everyday! :lol:
 
Sarah I do it too, every Friday before I get in the shower..............all that wet hair weights alot! :wink:

Also after I've been a 'loo'! I swear it makes me 2lb lighter! :rotfl:
 
About twice a week after a poo :D . I think my scales are broken though as it's showing I've gained a stone but I can get into my thinner trousers which I couldn't last week :? Might need to change the battery :think:
 
Right so I'll weigh myself once a week, naked and after a crap (better not do this in Boots, think I'll buy some bathroom scales :wink: )

Hey hon, I doubt that would give you an accurate reading as after meals your body weight increases from the liquid and food you have eaten. Best time to weigh IS in the morning about an hour after waking.


I normally weigh myself weekly but haven;t recently although going to start losing somne weight soon, if I was working out it would be fortnightly to get the best reading if not the normally weekly first thing...
 
Once a week or more :shhh: , before breakfast, after a wee, naked in the kitchen because it's got a hard floor (with the curtains closed!) :D

I weigh myself every 2days before I get a bath of a night. Just to check progress :fib:
