Not sure if this is great news or not!

We've been offered a viewing on a flat! Yay!

BUT

It's a one bedroom on the 1st floor!

BOO

The viewings at 11.30am should I take a day off work and go with OH to view (baring in mind I have 3 days holiday left until 2nd Dec) or should I let him go on his own.

There's no guarantee we'll get this place so I'm not sure if I want to waste it! Need advice ASAP so I can ring my boss by 5.30!

Thanks :)

I still think you should go hun... unless you trust your OH to know whether or not you'll be happy with it? I'd trust my OH but I'd still like to see it for myself. Its a tricky one!! xx

Meant to say, can you not just say to your boss or whoever can you just nip out and see it quickly and come back so you dont waste a whole day? xx

Let him go on his own and take pics if he's allowed. Then if it's good you can book a day off and go back next week to view together.

That way you're not wasting a day off if it's rubbish :)

Unfortunately you have to make a choice there and then apparently!!!

If you have to make the choice there and then, then I'd be inclined to go. You need to picture space for baby etc as well, some times two heads are better than one, especially in those circumstances. Any chance of just taking half day? x

I was thinking that but the appt is at 11.30 so kinda awkward! I've just rung my boss and had to leave a voicemail explaining and asked her to give me a call back. Now my OH is saying he might be pushed to make it back as he's working away so I'm stressing now!
Benefits looks like it's a new build next to a swimming pool and close to a nursery!

That does sound nice. Ours is a new build next to a massive park, and from my window I can see the river Thames :) 5 min walk away from the riverfront. Private rental though but it's lovely!!

I'd say try your best to see it as it sounds very promising indeed!!

Does anyone else live on the 1st floor with a buggy? How do you cope?

No apparently not. The more I'm thinking about it the more I'm warming to it and I really hope we get it! If we do tho we'll have to move in by Monday and were away for the weekend!!!

aww hun i hope u love it and get it!! could be perfect timing before you get too late on to move xx

Hey were 2nd floor no lift but there us space in the main hall to leave the buggy so we don't have to carry ot all up the stairs. It's fine appart from when we've been shopping. I dread goin bk sometomes as I know I have to lug it all up.but u get used to it and the actual flats the most important thing

Just got back and it was amazing! Brand new and all we'd need to do is carpet it!
Really lovely complex all new builds even has a little balcony :) and a cot shaped bit of wall in the bedroom!
The woman mentioned we were first on the list, the others viewing were 3 blokes in their 20s and an old man so all looking promising! We find out tonight!

good luck lovely, I hope you get it :)!!! Xxxxx
