I'm having hot flushes for about 4 weeks now, I did test couple of weeks ago but no pg, I'm on 56th cd (always irregular but never this much) I read that hot flushes might be sign of poor egg reserve but my FSH level is OK . I'm wonedering now maybe I should test? I was so focus waiting for AF to book hocosy that I give up on thought that it might be THIS month? Did any of you did have hot flushes in this stage? Last year did have exactly same thing and hot flushes stopped the day before AF arrived.

:dust: to all

Maybe to test to be on safe side?? I get hot flushes alllll the time....but my cycles are very very irregular (talking 100s of days) good luck xxx

Hi Claire, I think it's some kind of hormonal imbalance, I'm going to investigate that. I've been thinking about test but I'm afraid, till don't have negative I can entertain hope of being pg, as silly as it's might sound.
Did you ever have any problems with thyroid gland?i did as a child, was taking tablets for few yrs and when I finished treatment doc told me to advise ginekologist once I'm pregnant, didn't occur to me to ask why at that time. I think this might be the reason of hot flushes, not sure, on mon I have phonecall appointment with my gp will try to get some blood test done, will see.
:dust: to you

Well I thought to do small update, I spoke to my GP yesterday and in the result got blood test today, after tomorrow will have results so will see if there will by anything to "blame" on my hot flushes, there was few things there will be testing my blood for. Will put all once I've got my result providing makes any sense. I wonder if that has anything to do with my fertility issues or it's freaky coincidence. I plan to call surgery tomorrow and book consultation over the phone with my GP to discuss my results.

:dust:

Just remembered to add. Last Friday had good blob of egcm not perfect but best I did have this month and I don't know if that's paranoia but it feels my hot flushes are slightly less frequent.

Well I have explanation for my hot flushes, my HSF level is pre menopausal @ 35!!!!!! Can't or more I don't want to think about it right now. Did call my clinic, need to see my consultant, sick of waiting for AF , it's cd 67. On Sunday I'm going to sit down and have some plan but for now I just don't want to think about. I just hope that FSH will go back to normal, I refuse to believe that in 1 year from FSH 9.6 I went up to 106!! There was Sth what triggered my hot flushes this month, I hope. :wall2::wall2::wall2:

I took long enough I kept my head in sand I need to face that it's not going to be easy. Last few days felt really depressed with all off this. I did call clinic and once they've saw my results (done by GP ) I got appt with consultant in less than 3 weeks! I'm really worried, was told to not to call to book hycosy because they're booked, but would think that whatever is going to be next step it's good to know if my tubes are patent, providing there is next step. I'm dreading that consultant will tell me Sth within lines can't do anything for you with this high FSH . Feeling really low right now with unknown future. I know that whatever is going to be I need to change my lifestyle because a) if we're going to go through some kind of treatment that always beneficial to be top condition and b) lucyboo said that this way I can lower my FSH . Please please I need that chance and I'm really afraid that on 28 April will be told that there is none but donor eggs.

Try really hard to get it down naturally. Then ask for another retest on nhs for fsh levels. The first clinic we went to ( private) wouldn't touch us unless donor egg..NHS wrote us off and wouldn't touch us either.. But the lister in London are specialists in low ovarian reserve/high fsh. They took us on after being written off by the other place giving us a chance with my eggs. Sometimes your body gets totally out of sync and if we aren't aware we have a problem it can rocket the fsh sky high as I wasn't doing anything to help it. Keep hope, it is tough..

Hi Lucy thank you v much for your message!i will be in touch shortly asking your advice, hope you don't mind, I'm pickup up myself and getting ready to kick my FSH down :) but really what I wanted to say for now is to wish you wedding of your dreams! Just watched another episode one born every minute, I pry to God that will get to experience motherhood. Sometimes it's so hard to be positive.

That's interesting about the hot flushes because I get them occasionally, they started soon after we started TTC and I was worried that it might be early menopause, but I had tests and my FSH level and ovarian reserve is good for my age. But it makes sense what you say about levels fluctuating at different times which would explain why I only get them occasionally. Its also good news what Lucyboo says that you can change the levels by altering your lifestyle. When I exercise more I don't seem to get them.

Good luck for 28th, :clover: really hope you'll have plenty there to work with. :0

Thanks Blueflower, I have to say I'm really scarred! I've done plenty research on FSH and thyroid gland and now I know these two are highly related. I used to have underactive thyroid and now is border line low but I don't know how low. You know how it's, you find the answer to one question but then info brings another question, I keep notes from my research and this weekend have to prepare list of questions I would like to ask. My dh is coming too, I was worried that I will misunderstand Sth or miss crucial info but most of all I think he needs to be included as much as possible so all of this doesn't became somehow just Sth I deal with. Part of me wish it was already Monday so I know where we stand.
Will keep my fingers crossed for your ivf :dust:
