Hospital Bag

I know this must have been asked about a million times but I really dont have a clue, what to put in it.

DO you think using one of those small suitcases is stupid??

Definitely not - I had a small suitcase and a rucksack!!!

Take what you need, sod what anyone thinks!

I had a bag for me and a bag for keeley and i still needed my ex to bring stuff when i was discharged the next day we had nearly 4 bags to take with us

Go to Boots and get one of there baby catalogues it has loads of useful info in plus what you need to take to the hospital.

I have a small suitcase on wheels to take with me and a changing bag full of stuff to and i havent finished packing yet.

i had my bag and Jams bag and OH fetched clothes in for me as i stayed in 3days! theres a handy list on the mothercare catalogue back page!

I ended up with a suitcase and the only one we had was a family size

with willow i just had a small suitcase but the hosptial gave me a list of what to bring i think there was

Nighties 1 for giving birth 1 for after(bring 4 just in case)
toiletries (toothbrush toothpaste hairbrush bobbles shampoo showergel flannel deodarent)
towls(bath)
lots and lots of old knickers or disponsible ones
maturnity pads
breast pads
slippers
spare set of clothes

then for baby
Sleepsuits
vests
cardigan
scratch mitts
going home outfit

they actually use real nappies in the hospital over here so we are told not to bring any just 1 for going home they should provide you with everything else but i would ask them for a klist just in case
