horrible period type pains!!

not long got back from town and im just sat ere now nice and quiet playin with the lego with my son but im gettin these really horrible period type pains that r on more than off now,actually makin me feel sick and keep havin to move around or lie on the bed,cant get cumfy atall.im half expectin my plug to come out or something so just incase iv put a pad on.wonder if labour might be on the way? xxx

Hi ange34- I started getting these around 36 weeks......asked MW and she said it's everything prepping and will come and go until labour starts! I'm now 40+4 and still no LO! lol! Hopefully it's the start of things for u tho, fx! xxx

ive had a few episodes of period type pains over the last 2 months but nowhere near as bad as this,this is actually makin me frown alot and keep noticin myself holding my breath.maybe it is just a false alarm and im just really close to the big day now.im sorry youve gone over your due date hun,its really frustratin isnt it xxx

Hopefully it's the start of things If not, it's just your body preparing for labour.
Recently I've started to get period pains every so often all of a sudden, I haven't felt anything like this throughout my whole pregnancy until now. xxx

Thanks hun! .....I have def noticed mine getting more severe but nothing that I have thought was contractions! Are yours coming and going enough to time them do u think? Mine tend to stay for hours on end!xx

i think its time 2 get a notepad and pen out and see how far apart they are,its constanatly ligering in the back ground then im finding it gettin to a peak point where i can feel it building and comin on stronger....thats when i hold my breath!!! then after a couple of minutes it eases off back to just lingerin constant.xxx

youd think id know with it being my 5th but to be honest all my labours have been totally different so havent got a clue lol,mind u last baby was nearly 11 years ago and iv forgot alot since then.if anything progresses i will definatly let u kno hun xxx

11years ago, wow that's a big gap, no wonder u r struggling to remember! It's funny how even in the same woman labours are so different! Don't know how I'd cope being pg and having other kids to look after too, let alone another 4......u must be superwoman! lol xxx

my youngest has just noticed the pain on my face and asked me if im ok bless him so iv just been tellin him about the night he was born and explained that i think henley might be on the way.its a blessin really that they are as old as they are 11,13.15 and 17 so i wont be short of helpers lol which is good coz im on my own with them aswell.this is like startin allover again 4 me.these pains are gettin stronger as i type xxx

ooh ange34 you sound like i did yesterday, i had bad pains and stomach went really hard, couldnt sleep on my side which i usually do as was to uncomfortable and lying on my back made no difference, i thought id be woken in the night with the real thing but nothing and its been pretty quiet today x x

i have a 15 year age gap between my daughter and this one x x my son is 16 too x x

are you getting funny feeling in your foo foo too lol i am like tingles lol

That's great that they are of the age when they can help u, especially since you're on your own like u say hun. .....Like the name Henley btw!
