Going to get checked out at the MAU due to reduced movement, really wasn't well yesterday and was getting abdominal pain plus shooting pains, baby didn't do his usual wake up call at 5.30 this morning so i'm hoping he is okay :( tried lying on my left side, cold drink, he usually wriggles at breakfast but nothing this morning..

Good Luck Rebecca - let us know how it goes please.
Was in a similar situation last week but thankfully all was well x

I had this too... but baby was ok just being a lazy monkey. . Hope urs is too x

I had this a few weeks back after being unwell and they think baby was just having a quiet day whilst he recovered for the virus. Hope all is well xx

Hope it's nothing to worry about.

Have you tried chocolate? That's what wakes my lo up best.

Good luck x

Try putting something really cold, frozen peas etc onto your bump normally gets baby moving xx

Hope your LO is ok, have you tried a really sugary drink like lucozade, shining a torch on your belly, or just a bit of gentle prodding. X

Yeah tapping on my belly also often helps x

Hope LO is just having a lazy day and is back to their usual self soon. I've had a few scares but a cold can of fizzy juice and chocolate seem to get LO moving pretty quickly.

Thank you girls, baby met the CTG criteria but I'm still not happy with movements only felt him move once so I'm being sent for a growth scan tomorrow morning to check baby's growth and how much fluid is surrounding him hopefully he's back to his usual self in the morning :) thanks for all your comments xx

Well that's a good result, and good that you are getting a scan! Good luck tomorrow x

Thank you! Hope they can give some reason as to why his movements completely changed, but happy that he's still happy in there xx

Glad all is ok!
I've had over a week of reduced movements, daily ctgs and 2 scans Hes always ok on the monitor! But being delivered next week as they're concerned about the placenta.
Good luck with your scan!

Aw sorry to hear that you've been having reduced movements too but glad your little one is okay, at least you will get to meet him/her next week bet you can't wait!

Scan showed that baby is doing perfectly fine, fluid is fine and so is the cord providing everything needed, his estimate weight at the minute is 6lb and he is fully engaged which is why they said i had the sharp pain a few days ago as it can be uncomfortable when they engage he has his feet up in me ribs booting them so now i know hes perfectly active just been told to keep an eye on movements and ring up for another scan if they seem anymore reduced. xxx
