Hope for my Nan

My Nan's been in hospital since November after having a stroke - she's fine mentally but still unable to walk and very depressed with the whole situation. I saw her at Xmas but my family live quite far so I only visit every couple of months.....anyway, she doesn't know I'm pregnant yet so I'm going to see her this weekend to tell her my good news I'm really hoping this will give her a real lift and make her determined to fight her way out of that bloody hospital! Will let you know how it goes xxx

New life, new hope My dad was really depressed around Christmas so I told him early and made him keep it a secret... it really helped him, so I hope it helps your Nan too

Aw i'm sure this will give her something to look forward too.
I told my grandma, who's about 80, and her reply was along the lines of "thats nice i was just thinking i had nothing to live for, but now i have" which made me a bit but too, think she's just a bit lonely since my grandad passed away a couple of years back
