Hey Peeps,

So OH and I have decided to go all inclusive for honeymoon but thats it so far LOL

We are getting married september next year

We've already been to mexico, cuba and Dom Rep before we met as teenagers and we did Thailand last year and fancy something secluded, beautiful and relaxing

Any good recommendations? :-)

Yeah thats one of the places we were looking at, have you been ? x

We went to Sri Lanka for our honeymoon it was gorgeous (a lot of people do a week there then a week in the Maldives) and the other place that's amazing is Borneo. We stayed in a hotel with an Orang-utan sanctuary connected to it there x

No I haven't, my dad and his wife went for their honeymoon and LOVED it !! They did recommend it to us and we had a look (did look amazing tbh) but we fancied something a little less secluded and a bit more lively. I've heard great things though so ..... its a hard choice to make so good luck ! :) xox

oh they both sound beautiful x going to be going online and having a search :-)

I have hear amazing things about Aruba!

xxxx

Antigua? I've not been but heard its beautiful! I passed on all-inclusive honeymoon and opted for Florida instead! So worth my years of waiting and can't wait to take my little bean there!

You have to be careful with September as it is rainy season in the Caribbean, we went for Mauritius which was amazing and the weather was mainly nice with a few rainy hours!
Xxx

A friend of mine is a travel agent for Kuoni and she has been to all the destinations they offer - she said by far the most amazing place is the Seychelles if that's any help

I would personally recommend the Maldives, St Lucia or the Bahamas if you want romance and seclusion then you cannot beat the Maldives, it was magical. We did a weekend in Bath relaxing and catching some rugby (big rugby fans and as a treat I treated hubby to a very special weekend including a box and drinks with the players afterwards) and then went off to the Maldives for an all inclusive 3 week trip, it was AMAZING, we had spa treatments together, could hop into the sea from our room, totally jaw dropping :D We got married in September (in fact just celebrated our anniversary last weekend) and the weather was perfect xx

The maldives is where i want to go!! But out of our price range :( xx

We went to The maldives and it was 2wks of pure bliss. It was so romantic and relaxing. We had spa treatments, went on boat trips and lounged. Whenever we missed breakfast, our personal butler would come to our duplex, over water villa with a basket of fruit! Omg it was glorious. I cant recommend it enough.
We went at the end of June which is their monsoon season but the weather was amazing. A few quick showers but they were really refreshing x

Tapatalking :-)

Thanks so much ladies

I'd love to go to all of the places he he

I think we are going to look Indian Ocean side as it's hurricane season for the Caribbean

I can't believe its so expensive eeek! X

We went to the Maldives at the beginning of October a few years back - 2 weeks of pure unadulterated bliss!!

We stayed in a Jacuzzi beach villa...which funnily enough was a little 2 storey villa on the beach, lol. It had a downstairs bathroom, which was half inside / half outside (high wall surrounding though - no-one can see in) - and this led to a massive covered Jacuzzi bath outside...very nice!!! ;-)

We swam with baby blacktip reef sharks, free dived in some amazing house lagoons, travelled in luxury boats, ate some of the most amazing food and drank a lot of champagne and cocktails. It was absolutely amazing and I cried when we left the island!!:-(

I doubt we will ever go back, but I'm so glad we saved so hard to have a "once in a lifetime" honeymoon. Cannot recommend this island enough! xxx

We went to Tahiti and her islands ( moorea and bora bora).
My husband showed me pics and I didn't think it would be as beautiful as the pictures. It was true paradise .
We had over water huts and all there locations were stunning. We swam with dolphins , fed stingrays, etc. Recommend x

- now Free

Thanks ladies they all sound amazing, I'm going to start googling :-) x

I fancy the cook islands. That's on my bucket list for sure.

My honeymoon was spent touring the west coast and then Hawaii. I would also recommend there, Oahu is a beautiful place.

I bloody hope i an afford to go to the maldives!!! Its my dream honeymoon!! Xx

We got married in September and went on honeymoon to Mauritius it was amazing. We booked with beachcomber and as it was our honeymoon got 50% off the accommodation cost. I know they do honeymoons to the Maldives and Seychelles too so might be worth a look?
