homemade wedding decorations

well, me abd oh are getting married in June. Registry office is booked, photogropher paid for and a deposit is down on my flowers, but nothing else. We were meant to start saving before xmas but due to a few things, we couldnt. Its only going to cost in the region of £2000 but worked out our money and we are going to be a bit short.

I have started making favour boxes but stuck on what else I could make. Any ideas?

You could make your own flowers or order them in silk which is apperently a lot cheaper. A friend of mine made her own flowers for her and bms and they looked fab! x

already using artificial flowers, its £100 for my flowers, bridesmaids, flowergirls, maid of honours and a load of button holes.
Great idea of making the special gifts, just gotta think of what to do now.

now planning to make my own table confetti and banners. got alot of work to do lol.

We had wedding crackers made as unusual favours. They doubled up as place cards. Our were done by a friend of my dad for free but you can get them in eBay

I don't know what sort of theme you have, but you could make your own personalised bunting to hang where you are having reception, like with your names and maybe date of wedding, then it something you can keep xx

We made our own card box and my friend had a wishing well for cards that her and her dad made. We did our own invitations, favours, napkin rings and table decorations.
