Now i've been given a green light i can start considering a Home- Birth.

I'm not worried about the birth as such, but where were your other kids when you went into labour?

My Sam(6) came 2 hrs after my waters broke and i'm concerned how fast this baba may come and my HO doesn't want my little lad about and see Mummy in pain.

If it happens during the day things will be organised but if it happened during the night

good question hun! This is my first I cant help you with this one. But I do hope you can sort something, I cant imagine anything scarier then thinking my mum is in pain!

Hi! I had Alex at home 3 weeks ago! He came in the middle of the night (labour started at 1.11am Alex born at 4.22am!) My dd, aged 10, didn't even wake up! She slept through until about 5 when I woke he up to tell her she had a new baby brother!
Funnily enough, the only one who seemed concerned about me being in pain was the dog! He whined al the way through labour! Either cos h was concerned or because he was shut in the kitchen!

Thanks for the above link and thankyou for some re-assurance anakate.

my friend had her 4th child at home 2 yrs ago & her then 9 yr old watched her little sister be born!! it was her choice too. she loved it, not for everyone though.
my DD would think it was gross!!!!

with my home birth, duncan went to bed earlier than usual (at 7pm instead of midnite :o ) and for some reason he actually got to sleep :o
Funny story:
when he got put to bed i made a scream and he copied, he sounded just like me, then i decided to go on the gas and air and shut the hell up lol ;)

good luck let us no how u get on xx
