Anyone else scarily obsessed with the baby programmes? I can't help myself, and then it makes me friggin cry!

I used to watch them religiously but have backed off now as like you I found them upsetting to watch... decided that when I am pregnant then I will start to watch them again!

I watch that Baby Story waaay too often for my own good, althgouh i was starting to think it was a bit rubbish because it doesn't show me enough detail or a follow up...

...then! I watched one that was amazing It was just a few days ago and it was a proper home labour and you could see the skin stretching and bulging out from side on like it does when an animal gives birth and then it was out

No gore or stress or tearing... didn't even see her bits

Bringing Home the Baby is ok too.

Did you watch that series "... and pregnant" - one was about someone with anorexia, another about someone with mental illness, another about a women in prison - they were interesting.

Louiseb i watch anything with baby or pregnant in the tittle lol!!! I like I didnt know i was pregnant!

I watched that im pregnant and... louise it was very interesting! Im not too keen on the baby story ones tho as it makes me cringe that in America every single family membr is in the birthing room and all have a camera flashing as the babys head is popping out really annoys me lol. Also looks like over there EVERY singe person giving birth has an epidural and is giving birth flat on a bed with a surgeon looking person there to catch it. I like the baby tales ones better and home birth diaries but dont know if they show them anymore its been a while since I watched home and health x

You know, i thought the one i watched the other day that was good was a UK one, but i didn't really notice ot be honest.

I like photos and even videos, but i don't like everyone being in the room.

When my sister was giving birth, there was my mum and dad and my brother and me and my husband and then about 3 nurses or whatever.

I couldn't stand it, so my and hubby went to the Trafford Centre and asked to be phoned when he was out lol

I just find it a little wierd why ppl would want photos of there downstairs bits with your babies head coming out of it in the family photo album haha. Suppose its a personal thing but personally I want a midwife and my husband everyone else can get lost

They can visit the day after they dnt need to be in on the action, oohh I like portland babies too x

I am with you on that!!! If i ever have a baby, hubby is staying head end tho!

i love home and health its best channel lol prob only reason i have sky tv well that and nick junior for my 5 yr old i record anything with preganant or babies in the title then watch them when alfie is in bed
at 4am onwards theres a good load of baby tv on tht channel i record it all my + box has its usages

haha my OH takes the right mick cos before wedding it was wedding tv and then went straight to babies. he is worried what will be after that!

I love portland babies and babes in the wood but there was one on last year called one born every minute n i loved that too! No harm in looking, i have to say im guilty for wedding TV aswell and im not even engaged......yet!! x
