Today me and my OH decided to try artificial insemination because my OH has always taken a loooooooong time to "finish the job" and with the added pressure of ttc i think it was making it worse- problem with OH always taking so long is that i dont take that long to get really sore!!! Not a great match eh?! When i say i get sore i dont just mean right then either its for at least a day after aswell. So these things were making it hard to ttc because either OH couldnt finish or i was too sore to try again!! So we have decided to use AI on my (supposedly) fertile days and then just have some fun without worrying wether OH finishes or not when we feel like it. This month is the first month ive looked for a change in CF and i *think* i may be around ovulation time- can anyone tell me their opinion please?! Yest i had a pain on my right side it was quite bad actually but i think its ovulation pain because i always used to get this pain (before i went on bc) this is the first time ive had this pain back since coming off the injection (and before that i had the implant/and before that injection again!!) so when i went to the toilet today and i know this is tmi so sorry!! but when i wiped there was quite a lot of CF and it was quite runny very clear and will stretch between my fingers.....so does this mean im ovulating now or about to? We succesfully AI this morning and plan to again tonight and for a few days after. Please please dont read and run if you have any answers for me, i really dont know enough yet about ovulation and CF!!!! Thanks!!

sounds like you are ovulating and ai could of worked? maybe do it again tonight and tomoz and hopefully you'll habe that bfp!! xx

Hi and thanks!! I wasnt sure if the clear CF meant ovulating now or going to ovulate in the next few days? Suppose it doesnt make a lot of difference as long as we do it again for the next few days? I really hope it works!!!

Sounds a good sign to me!!

It's hard to know if you're before or after OV (have you considered OPKs?) but it sounds the perfect time to try!!

Good luck hun ewcm normally occurs in your fertile days, so your in with a chance keep gouing if you can. fx for that xx

Hi Piglets,
your cm cervical mucus,(not sure what cf stands for?) that you describes is the best for fertility and yes prob means you are very close to ov.
When it starts to turn more creamy you have ov'd.
Do you mind if i ask what you are using insert ?

Yes it does sound likely, to be sure though have you tried tracking your bbt and using opks? Xx
