Holiday at 25-26 weeks?

I know it's early days and still scared about the 12 week scan, but we are planning a holiday (probably Turkey) in June, I will 25-26 weeks (fx everything goes well), is it a good time to go on a holiday?
I do want a holiday in the sun because who know when we will have next one if lo arrives in September!

read up on this because we're thinking of going away in june, apparently so long as everything is ok with pregnancy and Dr gives a letter confirming due date etc, many airlines will take you. best to check with a travel agent.

Each airline is different so always check when booking. Also be extra careful of what you eat when abroad. But don't not go just because you are pregnant. Most of all enjoy it, as the next time you go you will be kept busy that's for certain!!

you should be fine. I've just had to rearrange my hols. I was meant to be going to spain in september but baby is due in october and the no one would let me go, not the airline, the inlaws, my parents or DH. I had to listen when he said no!! Lol

Definitely want to go and enjoy a holiday, Turkey shoould be too bad in terms of food but I am always cautios when abroad anyway. Will definitely check with the travel agent and get insurance.

Go for it!! I'm going to South Africa when 25-26 weeks and can't wait!! It was fine to add the bump to the travel insurance and just getting my midwife to write a covering note just in case, but checked with airlines anyway and they were fine as well.

I went when i was about 23 weeks and i was fine - usually you dont need a doctors note unless youre going after 28 weeks.

We're going to Egypt and I'll be just over 28 weeks. I think you should be fine...
I haven't even told travel insurance, do I need to?!

Hiya, ill be 29 weeks when i go away. Midwife said it should be fine just as long as my pregnancy is going well & i'll need a letter of consent from either her or my doctor. Were flying with easyjet and i checked in there terms and conditions before we booked and saw that they accept pregnant passengers up to 33 weeks (i think it was 33, either way i was within the time frame) so double check with the airlines & ive been advised to get up and walk around as much as i can on the flight and to get some flight socks
