Hmm... here seems to be a good place to rant

We were living with my parents when I had Josh, right up until he was 2 as we didnt get offered a house until then.

At times it was awkward but it was also nice having my parents to help and they got to see Josh all the time which means he is now really close to them.

Having your own place may be the 'right' thing to do but its not the end of the world if you havent. As long as the baby is loved and taken care of thats all that matters. I mean the baby isnt exactly going to complain about having to share a house is it?!

so true. the only thing about this house is that there's only 2 berooms (DH was an only child) but we never use the front room and could easily convert that somehow. or build an extension If this house isnt big enough, DH's grandmother's house is huge with only her living there. DH's family will help us out. And plus if we're with family, we wont have so many bills (FIL isn't charging rent. such a sweetie) so we'll be able to save for a deposit for a house
