:bored: Every day for the past week or so I have been getting to about 2 or 3pm and suddenly I cant keep my eyes open! It's just started again today and I am yawning like I haven't slept in a month!
I feel like I just want to crawl under my desk and go to sleep!!!

The stupid thing is once I get home at about 5.45pm I am wide awake again and I find it really hard to sleep at night!!

It's so stupid :wall: , why cant I just get everything in the right order??????????

Have a big milky sweet drink to wake you up a bit, bum im the same as you but luckily at home now so i can have akip in the day, sorry to rub it in!
Take some choccy too to help wake you up

I was the same... I used to have a hot chocolate about now when I was at work to get me through it......

I was the same too, and the last few hours at work just dragged. I ended up snoozing on the train though so by the time I'd get home I'd be alright again :wall: just couldn't help myself.. and then yeah I'd struggle to sleep.

I am the same, luckily the lovely girls that I manage know me so well and just laugh at me and help me get over it :D

But I don't get the wide awake bit when I get in, once I sit down, that's it, I'm done so I have to get dinner ready as soon as I get in now otherwise it just won't happen!

I haven't been able to wake up at all today. I had a really good nights sleep last night (relativily(sp) speaking) But I just feel soooo tired all day, Had a decaf coffee earlier drank lots and water and even went outside for a little walk but just want to hide under my desk and sleep, I've another 4 weeks in work arrrrgggghhh

im the same i get to about 3ish and could fall asleep ( even if i didnt get up til about 11  )
luckily im at home so i just have a lie down and go to sleep

I've just woken from my after lunch snooze. I only finished work last week but have felt in need of an afternoon snooze for ages.
Chocolate helps............

I think when I was working and at the same stage I was also very tired. I agree with the others, having something sweet, when you feel so tired might give you a quick energy fix.

Nowadays I think I could sleep for England as I average out at about 10 hours a night! Might as well make the most of it before LO arrives I guess.

I was the same too, I used to pop out and go for a 5 min walk which would wake me up (weather permitting!)

When you start maternity leave?

I have to admit that I just resort to a good strong coffee

This would be my usual remedy, but I do worry about the caffiene, especially as I also have real cravings for diet coke!! :wall:

I have stated the 31st August (LO due 26th September) but I can see me staying longer with it being my family business, the usual rules tend not to apply and if there are staff holidays or things like that you can garuntee I will be here if only to answer the phones!

I have found over the last few days that instead of having a big lunch at 1 which makes me full and lethargic, just grazing all day on cereal bars, fruit, etc really helps. I just have to make sure I have something proper for dinner when I get home (no later than 7 to avoid the dreaded heartburn :wall: ).
