I'm in so much pain I can't sleep. My left hip REALLY hurts. Nothing at all is alleviating it with regard to how I lie. I'm just hoping the paracetamol kicks in soon so I can get some more sleep. I want to cry I'm in so much pain.

I hope you managed to get some sleep - I'm in the same situation with my right hip. I tried every position last night - randomly the comfiest was having both my legs raised.
Maybe see if you can get the midwife to refer you for some physio?
Swimming helps mine and being in water - only lasts so long though! X

I have had hip pain since about 24weeks and dleeping is awful turning in bed is even worse mw gave me a tubigrip to try as it can take weight of ur bump off ur hips xx

It might be worth you seeing a physio. I have a tubi grip, support belt and for later crutches! My last pregnancy I suffered from 10 weeks but carried on working 14 hour shifts! Not the best idea.

My physio gave me some exercises to do and said anti natal yoga is really helpful. I can't afford yoga so I do yoga videos off YouTube which was recommended by my physio.

I've been given a support belt this morning, which eased the pain almost completely but in the last hour it's returned as bad as last night. I just want to cry, it's awful. This pregnancy has so far been horrendous. I hate it. I can't even see that going home sick would do anything because i just cannot alleviate the pain whatever I do. I HATE this!

Oh hon I am sorry your in pain x I know that feeling I was in this much pain and I am not looking forward to it returning x maybe some crutches will help x I'd be lost without mine x I had mine from being 32 weeks pregnant with my youngest and I still use them now on long walks (well more than 20mins). You definitely need a physio x

Sorry you are in pain, I went to my GP with the pain that I get in my groin and hips and she diagnosed symphysis pubis, she has referred me to the physio therapist and to be assessed for the use of crutches, so it may be worth seeing if you can see a physio as it may help.
