Hinching!

So I have a little bit of energy today and desperately need to clean my house and do a bit of hinching! (Love Mrs Hinch - life goals)
My question is what can't I use or should I be wary of? I check the back of packages but nothing says you can't use while pregnant so far. Should I just make sure the room is well ventilated and crack on as normal or are there any products that are a definite no-no?
Gotta sort out the pig sty that is my house.

Just crack on as you normally would, just don't go overkill with the bleach and ventilate. My cleaning hasn't changed, it just becomes a bit harder as they grow

We bleached and zoflored our baby changing table and we plan to do the same with everything else - its all pretty safe

For some reason I remember refusing to deep clean the oven last pregnancy but I don’t know if that was to get out of it or because oven cleaner was risky. But otherwise I’ve just been carrying on as normal.

I’d avoid anything with bleach in it because the fumes are so strong, and make sure you have good ventilation for anything else you want to use. Early on baby is susceptible to birth defects so whilst any cleaning product is probably fine in tri 2/3, I’d definitely err on the side of caution at 11 weeks. Also, wear gloves if you’re doing some deep cleaning!

Just make sure you have plenty of ventilation and fresh air coming in, don’t clean any enclosed spaces with strong products - like put your head in the oven while there’s industrial strength oven cleaner in it ha ha x

Thanks ladies! (Glad someone loves her as much as me Char haha!) I have so much I haven't done lately but have a burst of energy so getting the zoflora out. I will make sure rooms are well ventilated and use gloves oh and I don't plan on cleaning my oven, that's definitely going to be OH duty haha

Oh i am so jumping on this bandwagon! I’m desperate for better cleaning systems be that my family is so big...

The only thing I’d avoid while pregnant are any cleaning products with tons of chemicals... I literally clean everything with a vinegar/water/essential oil (for scent) blend. And bleach in the toilet from time to time, ha!
