I have my 1st high risk specialist appointment at the hospital 2moro! Any1 know what happens at this app? xxx

Depends why your high risk, generally they do all the same checks as Mw. Blood pressure, urine etc. Then with mine discussed my disability because thats why I was high risk

x

Using tapatalk so excuse the typos!

Thank u! Its because I had pre-eclampsia with my previous pregnancy xxx

Mine was really boring - lots of sitting waiting, quick MW check, and then a 5-min consultant appointment where they pretty much said "your blood tests are fine, we'll transfer you to GP care and see you once more at 34 weeks, bye!" lol

Thank u all! Had my appointment today, took BP and checked urine then I had a scan to check babies size, that was a nice suprise seeing our little Bobble again :) They have put me on Aspirin for the whole of my pregnancy!!xxxx

Hi do you know how often consultant appointments are for high risk? Or does it vary? I'm meeting my consultant soon and not sure what to expect x
