I am under consultant care due to 4 previous cases of PE and raised BP and 2 previous sections.
I had a VBAC with my last baby and intend to have another with this pregnancy too.
I guarantee I will get to about 30 weeks and my bp will start to rise which will mean twice weekly bp checks and monitoring. I don't mind though, cos I get to hear my baby's heartbeat on a trace and know that he/she is ok.
The gp has got in early this time though and has asked me to start weekly bp checks with the practice nurse so if they do see a rise they can get me on bp meds early.
I managed 38+8 with Harry before my bp went a bit bonkers, but I didn't need to be induced as I was already in labour.
Sorry for the ramble lol x
