Just wondering how many times a day does your LO have hiccups? Mines at least 4 times and am thinking this is quite alot  xx

some days Jamesy has them alot and some days not at all. I take it as a good sign they are swallowing and practising 'breathing' :D

It seems at the moment my bubs has them all the time! It drives me insane.

A LOT! I swear she takes after her dad, he always has hiccups too. Lol. It's a good thing when they have them as Tillytots says - means they are practising swallowing and stuff :)

4 times a day sounds normal enough to me!

I hardly ever notice hiccups. Had some strong one's the other day though that were vibrating through my pelvis, very weird

Usually a couple of times a day. Very clear and right down *there* now. Creepy almost

Must read up again on hiccups in later stage again though

:( i've either never noticed hicups or she doesnt get them!

I'm gonna look out for the them now lol

Mmmmm i still wanna know what there like.......

sometimes i get like a faint kicking feeling deep inside and its constant like every 3 seconds!!

wonder if thats them????

Sounds like it Zobo.

Hiccups are WAY more regular than ordinary kicks etc... they feel like DUM... DUM... DUM... and are consequently more annoying!!!

Connie has them at least 5 times a day I'd say and usually after I've been to the loo. No idea why?!

I have only really begun to notice hicuups over the past two weeks. Now I notice them maybe 2/3 times a day. I am glad I am not the only one who finds them a bit annoying.

Yep I have been feeling them for a couple of weeks, although not every day.
It is such a strange feeling!!!!!!!!!!!! I laughed the other day as we both had hiccups!!!

Luke had hiccups a lot 'inside' and still has them after most feeds.

Mine has hiccups all the time too
I asked the midwife about it and she said that any amount was normal and he'll probably have the hiccups lots once he's born too.

Exactly the same with Dan, he's my little hiccup monster :D

cant really count how many times it varies sometimes he can hiccup for hours other times only a few times aday.

its sooooo cute and it makes me smile and i reasures me that collier is learning the reflexes to aid him to breath.

sarah

Yes, my little one has LOADS of hiccups. 4 - 5 times a day is not rare! I feel sorry for her, as she often kicks at the same time so I wonder if it is a little uncomfortable?

Mind though in the last week she has been a bit calmer - but it could me that I have been pretty busy so may have not noticed them...

My baba gets them alot as well... Like up to 5 times a day. I asked my midwife who said they are perfectly normal. I've definately noticed a pattern to my LO's hiccups... He usually gets them after I hav my breakfast and if i have anything sweet, also when i settle into bed he gets them for about 10 mins then as well!
