Right well where to start....

Well ihave been posting on the ttc board and have been getting stupid really really faint lines for ages and a negative on a cb digi on the 4th May.

So i stopped testing for a bit and waited. My cycles have been really messed up lately. Then i did a cheapy yesterdand got faint lines that were actually pink and definate lines, not like before. So i did a cb digi this morning and , i'm pregnant!!

No idea how pregnant though (between 4 and 6 weeks, more likley 4 as only got a +ve on CD42!)Hi, may i join?

So a bit about me.........

I'm Laura and i'm 26 and i have an (almost) 11 month old son called Alfie. He was born 10 days overdue on the 19th June at 4.10pm weighing 9lb 6oz (!) by emergency Cesarean after a 31 hour traumatic labour (won't go in to details, don't want to scare u all, lol). And i was really ill afterwards.

I have been back at work, part time, since the end of Feb. I am a Regulatory Affairs Administrator at a contact lens company.

I have a lovely DF and we are moving house in a week, we have eventually got a housing association flat.

I stopped breastfeeding bout 6-8 weeks ago ao my cycles are messed up. I had one 28 day one and one 38 day on and then got a positive yesterday (CD42). So it must have been a long cycle again. But i still could be anywhere between 4+1 and 6+0. Due from the 3rd to the 16th. I think will be the latter due to not getting a +ve till later.

Not sure what to do now. I know they don't usually book you in until 7 weeks + so is it worth ringing and making n appointment seeing as i am so unsure of my dates?? Last tie i made a docs apt and it ws pointless he just told me to ring midwife. I really would like to try and get an ealry scan. Partly as i had a miscarriage before i got pregnant with DS. And also to get my dates right. If they don't have them right chances are i will iss the window fr the triple test and nuchal scan. Last time i was too late for the nuchal scan as they cocked up and they had my dates, lol!

So anyways thats me. Not looking forwrd to moving, Grrrr! But at least we can settle. Now we have to work out where to put another baby! Alfies room is tiny!!

Nice to meet you all and i hope we all have a great next 8 months plus!!

Ooo i have organised a surprise party for DF today for his 21st! And it is a 2pm. How exciting. Got a lovely dress to wear! Won't be wearing that for a while!

Love to all!
Laura, Alfie (10m & 3w) and Sprout (4+1 to 6+0)

Yay someone else from Southampton! Dont know how I managed to miss you on the forum! Where abouts do you live? I live in Coxford (coz we both work at the hospital).

I would get an appointment with your GP straight away just to get it confirmed etc and set things in motion.

already replied to your other post hun but congratulations  and welcome to 1st tri xxxxxxx

Definitely - I can see it from my house but I've made DH promise he wont make me walk when the labour starts!

I think the scariest thing about the PAH is that I just finished a post-grad course in theatre nursing and spent 4 weeks working in the theatres there so if I end up having a c-section, I know all the people who work there and exactly what they are gonna do to me - I even scrubbed for a few c-sections when I was there!

But I always thought it was quite nice so it could be worse!
