I came across this site through google, trying to get answers to my dilema, but I couldn't find what I was looking for so signed up here to post my question as I am very frustrated and confused.

My period was due around the 4th May but it hasn't came. I had cramps on 2nd and 3rd May and there have been times when I was sure it was here, but no, nothing, there's no sign whatsoever. I took a pregnancy test on thursday (negative) and I took 2 today (two different brands) One was negative and the other one didn't show up. I don't know if Aunt Flow is just running a bit late or if I am pregnant and it's too early to tell yet ( my partner and I "got intimate" on the 24th April) but I am very frustrated and a little scared. Any help at all would be so much appreciated. Thank you

Might just be late or just too early to test. What test did you use?

The early test First Response are good because they are really sensitive.

I used First Response and Clear Blue. First Response came up neg and the Clear Blue one didn't show up at all. I'm thinking I could be but it's too early as The very earliest I could have conceived is 24th April, not even two weeks ago...

i would give it a couple of days hun and test again do you have any symtoms atal? although i know that everybody is different and get symtoms at different times i wish you the best of luck anyhoo!! let us know how you get on and welcome to the forum... it lovely here and you do get a lot of friendly advice and support when you need it...x

With that timing it's possible you're pregnant, and it's possible that it's still a little early to tell so you may want to give it a couple of days before testing again.

There are all sorts of reasons that your period could be delayed and even if you're very regular it can happen from time to time (based on the posts I've seen in this forum).

Hope the outcome is what you're looking for

xx
