managed to get a second hand one of these from ebay - reading the bumpth should be able to hear a heartbeat from 10 - 12 weeks - when I was working and pregnant with 1st baby(as a gp) first heard at around 9 weeks so stupidly tried with this and heard nothing - trying to make myself wait before trying again - just wondered what the earliest anyone has heard a heartbeat with one of these machines - the one at work was probably more sensitve and I am a lot plumper now (putting it mildly!!)

I've just bought one off ebay and it says you can hear the heartbeat from 8 weeks but it works better after 12

I heard ours at 13+7 but I'd not tried before then. The Hi-Bebe is a very good doppler!

I have the hi-bebe and heard from 14 weeks as thats when I bought it, I would say you would find it difficult before 12 weeks cos ur uterus hasnt moved above your pubic bone yet....
