Hello ladies I'm really stuck with what I want to do about burg either c section or try in a birthing pool? I'm really scared about the thought of pushing baby out my hooha I'm really scared help need advice I know everyone is different xxx

I always said I wanted a csection, I was adamant but my obstetrician looked at me in horror when I said that & said 'no way are you having a csection unless it's an emergency' & that was the end of that! I gave birth with the help of an epidural & g&a - it's not that bad honest, my bits are back to normal & I only had a tiny tear. Don't get stuck with a csection scar if you don't have to, honestly I really enjoyed labour - bit gutted it's over! Lol personally I wouldn't use a pool as a) you can't have an epidural b) I don't want anyone seeing all my jelly firm floating about like a pasty free willy & c) yes, they do fish your poo out with a little net! X

After having 2 c-sections (one emergency, one planned), I have no idea why you'd choose to have a c-section if you don't need it. I only had one second time round as I had GD and was given the choice between c-section or induction (had failed induction prior to emergency section, which was traumatic).

Have you talked to your midwife about your options? It does help to talk it through. I felt so much better about a VBAC after talking with my consultant, even though it never happened in the end.
