Hey girlies,

How are you both ?.

Thought i would carry on from our conversation yesterday re the ovulation sticks.
WELL !!!!!!!!! I did one last night, and i could see a really really really slight line. Very faint, but THERE. Have you ever had this before ?. Does this mean i'm getting near, or does it not mean anything until it's the same colour as the other line ?.

Needing your help, once again..........

Well, when I got the faint line I got my + the next day - however, some people do get faint lines all the time. Id suggest that you could try 2x per day say lunchtime and early evening, as in some people the LH surge (which is what is detected by the OPK) only lasts 10hrs and so if you only test once per day you might miss it. Hope you get a dark line soon hun. Get BDing just in case!!!!

Allegedly, if the line is not as strong as the control line then the result is negative. However, Ive never had a line as strong as the control line, but they do get increasingly darker the nearer I get to ovulation. Im hoping that your faint line means that you are getting closer to ovulation. That does happen for me. They start off faint, get darker and darker and then disappear altogether once ovulation has occurred. I always go with the strongst line.

OK Thankyou, i'll be keeping a close eye on things now. And will test 2 times for the next week or so. It's interesting cause i would never bd intentionally around this time as i would have thought it was too early. Just goes to show you though, if this comes out to be my time....
