hey girlies!!! (plus anyone who has had 4D scan)

did you all have a good bank holiday?

i had tummy ache on Sat, think it was due to not having hardly anything to drink and then only eating a bag of chips and a burger, i didnt feel upto anything on Sat but know i have got to eat even if i dont want to so really trying now, felt much better yesterday and went to Chatsworth with OHs parents, brother and his daughter, had a great day although i think th sun burnt my head i got headache and felt really hot lol anyway today feeling fine again apart from this rumbling tummy lol!!! making a right noise and ive already ate today grr! lol

ohh....also, as its my birthday next month and i have no idea what to have, i was showing OH the 4D scans and saying if only...anyway he suggested he pay for it as a birthday present, so obviously i said yeah lol im soooo excited, i think its around £120-130 (cant remember) at a private hospital in Sheffield, only thing is, it says 4D scan, you get 3 scan pics, 4d scan DVD etc etc but it doesnt say 4d scan pictures, do you only get 3d scan pictures or do you have to pay extra?!? has anyone had them done??

Hi Miss Gobby! I had a lovely bank holiday ta, weather was fab so went to visit my folks and lazed about on a comfy recliner in their garden most of the day then had a bbq for tea

Scan sounds like a lovely birthday pressy! Thinking of booking one for OH's 30th in July. I think 4D is the moving image so if you were to get a DVD from your scan it would be called 4D but photos of the scan would be 3D if that makes sense? Think the fourth dimension is the movement you see on the DVD? That's what I thought but I could be completely wrong!!! 2D is just the flat ultrasound image

oh right, i was thinking the scan which i got for my 12 week was 3d, not 2d, thats where i was getting confused then i think, i think you may be right hun! thanks

Hi Miss Gobby, i might be wrong with this but as far as ive read i understand the 4D is where you watch the baby moving/yawning etc in 3D and the 3D pics are the stills of it. Hope tht helps, im thinking of getting a 4D scan myself, does any1 know how long they usually last? x

thanks hun, yeah feeling soo much better, think this sunshine is helping too lol - although walking around Chatsworth yesterday was exhausting and my back was killing lol i am feeling so much more refreshed and have much more energy now its great! just hope it lasts lol

YAY for 4d scans! I loved every second of ours!
Don't worry about how many pics you get - if you get a dvd then it's really easy to play it on the computer and use the print screen button to get your own still images! That's what we did
