He's got the runs!

For over a week now Freddie has had very runny poop, its sometimes just like water, almost as tho he is peeing out of his bum! Then it seems to be getting better so I put off ringing the Dr but today he has had slimy jelly like stuff coming out with loose poo, does anyone know what this is?
Also just now he started to choke, I thought he was being sick so I jumped up and turned him over, patted his back to help him dislodge whatever it was that was causing the problem and out came a large amount of sputum, he really struggled to get it up, he now sounds like he has more on his chest/in his throat and I'm worried that he might choke again. The good thing is that the sputum was clear, it had no blood streaks and wasnt green in any way. I am going to take him to the Dr in the morning to get him checked out, do you think I should get him seen sooner and doea anyone have any idea why he would be doing this?

There are a lot of bugs going around at the minute. My nephews have both had a sickness/diarrhea bug. It could be that.

I would take him back to the doctors asap and have him checked over to be safe. Also make sure you get plenty of fluids down him as he'll be losing lots of vital fluids with the diarrhea and/or sickness.
