I had my baby at 5am this morning. He fed for a short while at about 6am and nothing since, has absolutely no interest in feeding and keeps being sick spitty fluid and a bit of green too. I'm worried this is because he needs to feed but I just can't get him to even remotely wake up enough.
I keep expressing tiny drops on to his lips but still nothing...

I would call your maternity ward.immediately as they're not supposed to.go any longer than 6 hours between feeds at that age. Don't panic! But better to.be safe.

I don't think babies do feed a lot possibly the first 24 hours after delivery because they are so tired and recovering from the birth. Having said that they do still need to take some, so if you are too concerned it would be a good idea to call your midwife, especially if he is bringing up green fluid. xx

When I had my son he went for about 10hrs without feeding (I was in hospital and they were fully aware), no one was worried but then he was a big boy. Like the others have said give your midwife a call for some advice/reassurance. xx

I would ask dr or mw to be sure.

All three of mine slept through the first night with no feeds and nobody saw it as a prob any time, x
