Help :(

Hi all, will try and keep this short. I just really need some advice and reassurance.

I thought i was about 9 weeks pregnant and was currently waiting for first appt with midwife. On Sat morning i started bleeding and phoned NHS 24 who advised i cannot get a scan at the weekend and had to wait until Monday. It was the longest weekend of my life. The bleeding was not loads but it was much heavier than spotting and its still happening now.

Anyway i got a scan appt for 12.30 today. They couldnt see anything on tummy scan so i had an internal one. The midwife said that the sac was bigger than average but everything looked reasonably normal for a 4 to 5 week pregnancy! She couldnt detect a heartbeat because its so early so i have to wait a whole week for another scan. She also said the bleeding isnt as bad as i think and theres no bleeding in/around the womb.

My partner thinks the appointment went quite well and he is positive but i am so confused. I did the actual test 4 weeks ago and my doc worked my due date out from my last period but they are irregular.

Has anyone gone through anything similar? I think i have convinced myself that i am further on and theres a problem

My date was changed by 10days when I had an internal scan a week or so ago due to some spotting. I was 5+4 weeks when I had the scan and could just see a little flicker of a heartbeat. Its good you are getting another scan - it means you should see a heartbeat and also know that the baby is growing properly - I didn't get another scan because they saw the heartbeat so I have to wait until 12 week scan. Hope its all okay for you

The staff were excellent i have to say. She was going to leave it 10 days but could see how stressed i was.

Fingers crossed for next week i guess. Hopefully the bleeding will stop and the comment about the sac being large wont come to anything bad :-/

Hi yeah I went through almost he same I thought that I would have been 8 weeks so went for an early scan and there was only a 4mm sac showing with an internal scan went back 10 days later and had another interbal scan and showed 6 weeks pregnant so yeah I went with the scan rather than period date xx

Well im sorry to have to say that i had a miscarriage on monday night/tuesday morning. Just got out of hospital today as i lost a of blood.
