ok, i need to start logically thinking about my future and my babies.

i'm not in a very healthy financially stable situation, actually i'm still living at home and in £2000 debt, now im planning to move to Somerset near my mum where its calmer and cheaper so i can get my own place (i dont want to bring up a child in london at the moment) i have a job but im currently studying too. (im going to get deferred a year at college and im sure i can transfer with work) i was just wondering what im/i will be entitled to cos i need to start thinking about this.

I know how you feel! My credit card is very unhealthy right now!! Have you looked into doing a 0% balance transfer? Im gonna have a look at some point cos you do pay soo much interest per month. The trick is not to use the card once youve got 0% deal cos they start charging interest on new spends. give the card to your mum to look after and set up a monthly standing order, however much you can reasonably afford to pay it off. It worked for me before, I totally cleared all my debt eventually. Now Ive just bought a house and had to furnish and carpet it so not so great anymore!!

It helps to motivate you if you work out how many months and what date you'll have cleared it if you dont cancel the standing order.

Im saying all this and not actually doing it myself, just been in the back of my mind for weeks now that I need to sit down one day and sort it out!
