Right ladies worth a shot you may be able to help/ give me advice

Basically I've just found out I'm pregnant with my third baby, EDD 22nd/23rd September.
Basically I started my new job on 14th November and probation period is 6 months.
1) when do I tell my boss 2) will they fire me as I am still on probation??

It is really stressing me out. Hopefully somebody has gone through something similar and can help! :oooo: a

I haven't been through this but as far as I'm aware you don't have to legally tell your employer until 15 weeks before your due date. I'm also pretty sure that your rights as a pregnant employee are pretty good too. Look on the gov.uk website for any helpful info. Do you know your work place's maternity policy/pay?

Good luck xx

Sweety! they definitely can't sack you for being pregnant so clear your mind of those thoughts. Take a look at the company's maternity policy though so you know what you are entitled to xx
Oh and Congratulations!!! X

I'm in my probation at work and I had to tell them as my job involves dealing with violent members of public on a regular basis. What has happened with my role is my probation has been put on hold, meaning the 5 months of my 2 years I had left will be carried over when I return from maternity leave. This is because I am not physically able to continue in this role currently for safety reasons.

I've had some issues with the way I've been treated telling my manager but that's his issue not a company one.
As far as I'm aware they can't sack you. They may alter your role or extend the probation given if you're able to continue with your role or not. I wasn't but you may be.

Right do I wait to tell them when I am 12 weeks and have had my scan or do I tell them now for health and safety reasons? I work in a store with teenage students who are autistic (knowing them quite well I don't think that is a risk factor) but I feel like I should tell them just in case anything happens at all. I have 4 months of probation left only been working there for 2 months, may ring citizens advice also so they can helpx
