Help with ovulation tests

First things first I have no idea what cycle day means. My period stopped on Monday and my app says I'm on day 10... is this right... anyway would it be logical that my ovulation test is VERY VERY faint.. like have to hold up to light to see type of light lol. My app thinks I should ovulate on Monday cd 14..
So would this be consistent?

I'm pretty sure faint lines mean nothing when it comes to ovulation tests.
Keep testing though

But nothing as in I'm not ovulating or nothing as in its going to get darker?

If it's not a positive then you wouldn't be ovulating anytime soon

It's think it's likely to get darker, mine did this cycle but when I've done them before I could have a faint line one day then nothing the next

It's soooooo confusing. It was completely white yesterday and today it's SLIGHTLY pink but only just visible. I'm not due to ovulate till Monday but I don't know whether I should be expecting it to get darker every day till then? Tbh I'm exhausted from work and forcing us to DTD every day in the hope it works this month. I'm in an absolutely rotten mood and I just want some chocolate! Is it too much time ask for?

Cycle days start the day you get your period (not spotting, actual period). It's usual for a faint line to start a few days before ovulation. It should get as dark as the test line or darker or at least be at it's darkest 12-36hrs before ovulation occurs. If you dtd everyday you are covered definitely. Good luck. Oh, and I think you should definitely have chocolate.

I get in a bad mood around ovulation. I think it's all the estrogen. Just when you are supposed to be dtd, I find I want to pick a fight with my OH...it's not good timing.

Yep I did totally bite his head off for talking over me. Normally I would just bite my tongue but he was trying to tell me what I'd said and I was like NO I DIDN'T ARRRGGGHHH oh well hopefully we can make up later

Ha ha, it's so weird that at a time when we need to be all alluring and seductive we are snappy and irritable. I have to bite my tongue so much as I get so ratty!
