Help understanding CM please

Right ladies I have no idea how to check CM and what it all means. I have read a few threads on here etc but basically could someone explain what I need to look out for and when is the best time to have sex please!? I think I might have what I've seen as described as EWCM and does that mean ovulation could have already been? Thanks for any advise!!!!! Xxxc

My understanding is at the start of your cycle, after AF finishes you have creamy CM. Then when you head towards your fertile period, you have watery CM, then when you are fertile, you have EWCM which helps the sperm to travel and remain alive in the cervix/womb. Once you have ovulated, you get creamy/sticky CM.

So really, you are looking for watery, and then EWCM.

Personally I would say no, we DTD this month after EWCM, I normally find it get it 1-2 days before ovulation, normally get a positive OPK when I have EWCM so then ovulate within 24-36 hours. X
