Braised steak or braised lamb neck fillets are fabulous
Coat the meat in a little season flour (don't even bother dicing it), brown the meat then put it into the bottom of the slow cooker. Saute some sliced carrots and onions for a bit, put them on top of the meat, sprinkle with mixed herbs salt and pepper, make up some gravy and pour it into the cooker (make sure the veg is covered) and cook. If you want to cook potatoes with it just add sliced potatoes making sure they're covered in gravy.
