Help! Possible blocked milk ducts/mastitis?

Hello, has anyone ever experienced red circle blotches over their breasts? I noticed them on the inside of each breast this afternoon after waking up very achey all over which turned into a bit of a fever. Spoke to midwife who said it sounds like blocked milk ducts & to massage & express/get baby to feed lots to empty the breasts. So I massaged & now all the blotches are really raised & warm. I've had mastitis before & felt like I was dying!! Will try get a pic... Any advice much appreciated. I have the midwife coming tomorrow anyway so will show her. I'm just scared it will develop overnight & have to get help!! Xx

That's mastitis hon, bloody horrible. Need to get antibiotics for that, phone 111 and get to an out of hours dr as it already looks quite bad. I left it for days after the rash appeared and needed two different antibiotics to get rid of it. By that time it was so painful and I had really bad flu like symptoms xx

Argh really? I had mastitis last time but just had a red mark not blotches like this. Nightmare, am only a week in this time �� xx

Midwife been to look & said it's an allergic reaction to something..off to the drs I go! Xx

It's not sore thankfully! Well it wasn't mastitis as it spread over my hands, feet & arms too. It's quite dramatic but only a viral rash. Bit strange!! Xx

Glad its not sore! How random! Viral rashes usually are though aren't they?! Hope its gone soon xx
