I want my son to be christened but it is along time since anyone in my family has been christened i was wondering if anyone could give me some advice for example - cost (roughly) how many god parents, age of child any thing else u feel i need to know
please help

As far as I know the child can be any age, I have known children to be christened at any age from tiny baby to 10 yers old. Traditionally with god parents I think its around 3, two being the same gender as baby (i.e. so in your case you would have 2 godfathers and one godmother) but again I feel this is personal choice, I have one godmother and that's it. Not too sure about the cost, I am looking into naming ceremonies as neither myself or OH are religious, and I have read that they can cost up to £150 depending on venue and registar. I would go to your local church to find out more about the cost.
