Okay so i'm new to this site and relatively new to this whole ttc thing.. so me and my fiance are very young and pretty healthy, niether of us drink much or smoke and i'm a little curvy but not dangerously so. We've been ttc for just over six months and bd every couple days, but nothing! I went to my GP but he told us to not be stressed and continue trying, thing is it's so hard to do that! So we keep trying and every month i'm dissapointed, for the first few months i used to get excited with every tiny symptom but now i don't even consider the possibility of eing pregnant, just waiting for this BFP is driving me crazy :( does anyone have any tips please?

Babydust and good luck to everyone!
xxxxxxx

i've been tracking them for six months, they're pretty regular occasionally a little bit shorter than four weeks but apart from that they're fine. xxx

Hi Hun,

You can take a multivitamin with folic acid, like Pregnacare and Hubby can take a multivitamin and a Zinc supplement.

Other than that eat really healthy, fresh fruit and veg, drink plenty of water etc.

xx

thanks, i've tried folic acid but gave up on that after a few weeks, dh is reluctant to change diet he thinks it should happen anyway very frustrating :@ xx

Ttc is probably one of the most stressful times in our lives. I think I read somewhere that the average length of time to conceive is 12 months so I'm giving it another 6 months and then will look at intervention such as Clomid to stimulate my ovaries more.

You're doing well to bd every couple of days! I wish I had your stamina!

Best of luck sweetie.

Xx

thankyou, i might try clomid as i've heard it's pretty good, i'm trying to keep calm but it seems everywhere i look are babies! and it's so frustratng to see friends get pregnant without even trying :/

when we first think of babies we think it's going to take a couple of months and make all sort of plans... As Joey said, in average it takes 12 months; however, we tend to compare with friends that got pregnant even if they didn't want... you are both very young so that's great. I would suggest to go for a good natural fertility programme and follow it for at least 3 months. Just including some more carrots and a cheap multi v won't improve your fertility; you need something real. Lot's of love and best of luck! Don't lose hope!

Thankyou Purna. I'm trying to just take it easy and not think about it too much, let nature take its course, hopefully we'll get our little miracle soon :) xx
