Help on blood tests required

Hey Girls

So I've just had my progesterone blood test last wednesday and I'm due another one this coming wednesday cos I normally have irregular periods.

But the stupid witch has made her entrance on day 25 which hasn't been known forever so now I don't know if I should cancel the next two blood tests or not.

I'm guessing now I've got my AF the progesterone levels will be null en void???? so the blood tests might be worthless.

Do you think that the one I had on wednesday just gone might not sure anything either seeming I've come on only 3 days later....

Hate my stupid body for doing this....wish it would make its mind up what its doing!

Any suggestions will be gratefully received....Thanks in advance!

An accurate progesterone result will be from blood taken half way between ovulation day and af. There is no point testing progesterone at the start of your cycle so I would cancel and once u have your + opk see if ur doc will let u go in for a blood draw evry 5 days to try to catch it. When the next af comes all u do I work backwards counting the days to work out what was the best teat day and see what your prog result was.

Like timtam I would suggest twmping. Do some reading on fertility friend or tcoyf.

I've got in with my dr later on to see what she suggests. I get a feeling though its all going to start clashing with my holiday now. Damn it!

I'll have a look at those two things....thanks for pointing them out - I've never heard of either of them
