Help - Olivia isn't feeding

Hi

Not sure what's wrong with Olivia, she does have a bit of a cold, but she isn't feeding for more than 5 mins. She's really sleepy (not dozy, when she's awake she's alert and cooing).

Is this normal do you think?
She's alot more aware of her surroundings now and loves watching the TV - I think she's getting a bit too distracted from my boob.

She did wake up several times last night, hope she's not getting day and night confused.

Ella has been the same with her cold - she's been sleeping lots in the day, is happy enough when she's awake (cooing and smily) but still looks dopey. Has also been waking at night (she normally sleeps well). Last night she woke once, previous two nights she was up twice. Also not as feedy (doc said she had sore throat) but is getting a bit better now

I wonder if Olivia also has a sore throat... she sucks for a few mins then loses her rythym and then starts crying and arching her back away from the boob (not wind though).

Poor wee lambs, it's horrible seeing them suffer

I was paranoid earlier that she was starting to reject my boob so I expressed some and tried he with the bottle but she was even more upset with that!

Exactly exactly the same as Ella - you know my normal routine is bath, bottle of EBM, bed - well she's been refusing the bottle (she's taken it tonight though). And crying after feeding for a bit - but not for poo/wind. Sounds like they've got the same cold, must have caught it from us

Hope she feels better soon - it is horrible seeing them poorly (and hearing her wheezy breaks my heart!)

Thanks everyone

Today started off the same as yesterday with Olivia not feeding then she had projectile vomiting and I think she had diarrhoea earlier but later tonight her feeding picked up and the dirty nappies have tailed off I think.

It's really awful seeing them ill, I feel so useless as well and not prepared - definately need to get myself on a first aid course.

Still not sure what the arcing back is/was, she's still doing it, perhaps it is sore tummy?

Brody also arches his back during/after feed. I think it's either tiredness or a little tummy ache
