HELP!! Is bleeding normal? 10+2

I need your help...

I went to the toilet earlier and wiped. I had some blood (Brown and light) like the kind before a period starts.

I'm 10+2 and not had any bleeding before now.

I phoned the 24hr midwife who told me to wait til the morning to phone the early pregnancy team.

I have a pad on to monitor the bleeding, nothing on the pad so far. More just when I wipe.

Is this normal?? Has anyone else had it?

I had a large brown bleed in my last pregnancy but from what I can remember brown blood is old blood. So as long as your not having bright red blood with agonising pain then you should be alright. Just keep an eye and monitor until the morning x

I've had some red blood overnight and bad cramps.
Phoned the erlafly pregnancy unit first thing this morning to get a midwife to phone back. Just chased it up and they had no record of my call so I'm now booked in for a scan tomorrow morning.

I'm so nervous. And really trying not to let on to my partner how worried I am as I don't want to scare him. It's horrible.

Hopefully everything is fine with baby.

I had brown spotting at the start of my pregnancy but I was told mine was probably from intercourse as I only ever got it up to 24 hours after having it. I've never had any red blood so I'm afraid I can't be of much help there, but I didn't want to read and just run. I hope the scan goes ok tomorrow and please let us know how you get on. My fingers are crossed that your little bean is healthy and happy.

Some women bleed during their pregnancies and it's nothing to worry about so let's just hope that's the case here. Thoughts are with you xx

Iv had brown and red bleeding in both my pregnancys. First time it was caused by polyps, this time they gave no idea but said probably a sensitive cervix. All scans have been fine so they aren't worried by it. Hope everything goes ok for you x

Hi.

Ended up in excruciating pain last night and have spent the night in hospital. I had a miscarriage last night and have to return tomorrow for an operation to remove remaining tissue.

Absolutely heartbroken.
