There are things they can do to stop labour and they can also give the baby steroids to strengthen the baby's lungs if he does decided to come early.
Try not to worry and your baby would probably be fine at this stage if born early. He might need help with breathing but he would be fine. Babies are alot stronger then people make out.
I started having contractions at 27 weeks with two of my pregnancies. I was given medication to stop them and taken into hospital. All the doctors kept saying to me was 'let's get you to 34 weeks, because that's when the lungs are developed'. Once I was past the 34 weeks, they sent me home but kept me on bed rest. You're almost 35 weeks now so even if the baby comes now you and LO should still be fine.
Are you having contractions now? What have the doctors said?
My waters broke at 35+5 weeks and Dan was born at exactly 36 weeks. He didn't need steriods. He was jaundiced and had low blood sugar but apart from that weighed a healthy 6 lbs 1.5oz
He didn't even have to stay in SCBU, he only went down there once a night for an antibiotic injection to prevent any infection. Hope that is reassuring hun
