good morning everyone, this is my first post.
6 weeks and 4 days so far (I think) and the sickness has struck. I actually have only posted this as I know people who have asked before, but scrolling through mounds of words makes me feel sick 🤢
Just wondered if anyone has any remedies? So far I’m on ginger capsules that haven’t done anything so far, and I’m wearing travel sickness bands which I’m not sure whether they’re working either. It’s literally constant. I’m not being sick but the feeling is 24/7, I feel slightly better when I’m in the fresh air but I work in a shopping centre, whether I’m sat down or stood up or walking, even when I’m in bed. But my concern is I’m hardly eating because of it, it gets worse at tea time so I’m sleeping through tea or having 2 or 3 mouthfuls and stopping. It’s a vicious cycle and I know it’s not healthy for me or my ever growing tiny human. But this is my first pregnancy so I’m clueless 😢

Any help would be greatly appreciated x

With my first I remember I felt sick all the time and was, and still am a delivery driver, so that was hell, but I soon worked out I felt better if I was actually eating, I ended up chewing gum all day or eating fruity sweets. I was never sick but just felt sick 24/7, unfortunately it stayed with me throughout the whole pregnancy and a soon as he was born it disappeared.
Sorry I can't offer much advice. Maybe give he chewing gum a try. I tried the bands but didn't help me either.

I feel your pain! I could have written this post myself. Eating definitely helps, I know you don’t feel like it but it really does take that horrible feeling away.

Eat little and often and see if that makes a difference x

I too have that nauseous feeling, mostly in the mornings but it really can come on at any time of the day, usually when I need to eat something! I read that ginger nut biscuits were good, but they didn't help me. However, sucking boiled sweets did and also I've found Cream Crackers (plain, no butter - dull!) have been great to nibble on...I just need 2 or 3 to make it work! lol. I hope your sickness has got a little easier x
