Hi ladies I have been on the forum a few years I currently have no children if I manage to concieve then this will be pregnancy no.3. Both the last two the babies had anacephaly. We had abortions both times and i hope so badly not to have to go through it again. This time we have joined ponti study which is looking into the effects of insotil in addition to folic acid high dosage (which I took before) to help prevent neural tube defects. I won't know if the tablets I'm taking are insotil or if they are a placebo though. So here I am!

wow that's interesting! I am sorry to hear about your 2 previous babies - that's an awful thing to go through once let alone twice.

Thanks ladies, yes my hubby and I were both tested Genetically but no obvious anomolys were found so its just a case of bad luck or the fact I'm not absorbing folic acid again.unknown reason or somethin else unknown geneticist was lovely tho and said if it happened again. That he could genetically test the baby as that may show more than just ours obviously hoping it doesn't happen a 3rd time especially as I don't know.if I could bring Myself to try a 4th without difinitive answers. Still fingers crossed tho for me and for all u ladies trying that you get safe and easy pregnancys asap! X
